We build a lot of Pro sized custom race bikes here at LUX, so we thought it was a perfect opportunity to piece together a smaller bike like this Meybo Holeshot Junior Custom that brings together the best brands to create the coolest junior race rig. A bike that you can pick up for young rider and head straight to the podium (or the sprocket equivalent) straight off the floor.

This little rocket ship is based around a Meybo Holeshot Junior frame with a 18.7″ top tub and finished in two tone race winning red.

Then we started grabbing stuff off the shelves to build it out. BOX carbon forks, SD cranks with HT pedals that are the perfect size for little feet, SD bars

Then there’s the wheel set! A Onyx Pro HG disc hub out back will handle all the horsepowers, with the front Onyx Helix 10mm hub shaving some weight. Onyx has been synonymous with performance and reliability for years now, and these ones are laced to Spectre’s new carbon rim. Internally known as the Battlesnake rim, the V2 Spectre rim has a subtle, unique design and is tough enough to withstand everything a young shredder can throw at them!

Pulling you rug rat up after the finish line is a set of Magura disc brakes that have an adjustable lever for reach so that you can dial in the breaking for those small hands. This lever can be swapped to the left, so no sweat there on your kid having to relearn braking technique with a different hand.
